Internet Explorer 9 has been installed as a system update in the operating system, and as such can be removed from the uninstall of an update Control Panel menu.
How To : Uninstall Internet Explorer 9
Here are the steps to follow:
1. Click Start and navigate to Control Panel.
2. As Internet Explorer 9 is installed as an update, so it is not in the list of programs already installed on your computer. Click Uninstall a program under heading Programs.
3. To uninstall IE 9 click the View Installed Updates link in the upper left corner of the screen. This opens a listing of Microsoft Updates that have been installed on the computer system. Please wait for a while to all updates to be displayed. Locate Windows Internet Explorer 9 entry there. Right-click on it and select Uninstall from the context menu.
Now follow the instructions displayed on computer to uninstall IE 9. A restart is must to complete the uninstall. It will bring you back to any recent version (if any) installed on your computer.
