FIX 1 – General Suggestions
- Restart your system.
- Run Windows Update Troubleshooter.
- Run SFC scan, if it fails, go ahead with DISM command-line repair method.
- It is recommended that you clear the corrupted update database.
- If you’re on an older Windows 10 edition and facing this problem, upgrade to latest version directly using ISO file.
FIX 2 – Install Updates Manually
When automatic updates are failed to install by Windows, you always have the option to manually download failed updates. You can simply use Microsoft Update Catalog to download updates automatically.
