Keyboard shortcuts are pretty handy when we’ve to work on Windows for long sessions. Using them, not only the operations can be carried out speedily, but reliably too. All of us have used them, at some instance.
Windows 10 comes with support for some new keyboard shortcuts, while some of the shortcuts introduced in Windows 8 are no longer working with this new OS. Thus, we’re going to share only those shortcuts which are working in Windows 10.

Here is the list of shortcuts we have found till now, which are supported in Windows 10.

E.g. if first pinned program on your task bar is Windows Explorer (from left to right), the shortcut Windows + 1 opens File Explorer for you.

This is the good older shortcut we’ve used for year to switch between tabs. |
Shift + Left / Right / Up / Down | Moves the cursor left a character, right a character, up a line, or down a line, selecting the text along the way. Continue pressing arrow keys to select more text. |
Ctrl + Shift + Left / Right | Moves the cursor one word to the left or right, selecting that word along the way. |
Shift + Home / End | Moves the cursor to the beginning or end of the current line, selecting text along the way. |
Shift + Page Up / Page Down | Moves the cursor up or down a screen, selecting text. |
Ctrl + Shift + Home / End | Moves the cursor to the beginning or end of the “screen buffer,” selecting all text between the cursor and the beginning or end. |
